About Us
Wobbly steps, loose railings, or boards that feel soft – that’s a safety risk and it only gets worse. As deck builders Lower Hutt and a trusted Lower Hutt decking company, we handle design, permits, deck installation Lower Hutt, repairs, resurfacing, and full replacements so you can enjoy a solid, high-quality deck.
We focus on the bones: footings set below the frost line, ledgers flashed and bolted right, spans sized from current tables, corrosion-rated hardware, and clean inspections. With years building in Lower Hutt, we pull permits, meet code, and line up winter design and spring builds to beat lead times.
You get clear pricing and a schedule we stick to, plus one point of contact who answers the phone. We spec corrosion-resistant hardware, hidden fasteners when they make sense, and materials that match your budget and upkeep goals, so the deck looks sharp and lasts.
Here’s what we do: custom composite and wood decks, full deck replacement, structural repairs, waterproofing and flashing, deck resurfacing, stairs and railings, covered decks and pergolas, lighting, and maintenance. Getting this right matters-wrong fasteners corrode, bad joist spacing makes boards bounce, missing flashing rots your rim joist, shallow footings heave, and skipping permits can force a tear-out; plan builds 2-6 weeks ahead, and if you stain wood, wait until it’s dry enough to take finish.
